Hello there. Here is my revision of the Storm Sorcerer for 5e. I love the idea of the Storm Sorcerer, but the actual abilities were extremely lacking. Most were defensive or reactionary. You never really felt like you were the storm or taking control of one. I had some inspiration from the Undead Warlock that came out a few years ago.This build Requires a cleric level of at least 2 for the channel divinity with the rest of the levels being taken in sorcerer. The sorcerous origins options should be an easy pick of the Draconic bloodline (Blue or Bronze ancestry) or Storm sorcery (if you have the Sword Coast Adventurer's Guide book) - both have good synergy for this build.Storm sorcerers are invaluable members of a ship's crew, as their power over the elements can protect sailors on their perilous journey. Wind Speaker. The arcane magic you command is infused with elemental air. You can speak, read, and write Primordial and its dialects: Aquan, Auran, Ignan, and Terran. I personally am a fan of the wild sorcerer primarily for the added fun and randomness, if you talk to your DM and find out how they will handle Tides of Chaos it can also be ridiculously strong (basically granting you advantage on every other spell attack roll).
