You're playing a game to have fun, and replaying scenarios is less fun than playing new ones. I'm doing this quest, 5 scenarios in, and 2/3rds of the way there. The enemies are all frontloaded in the scenarios so I'm actually worried I won't make my kill count before we run out of scenarios where they're available.

The quest is not about collecting resources, but cards. Cards are indeed collected whether a scenario is won or lost, but resources are not collected during a failed scenario. Is this confusing? Yes.
