For PVE, strength is good. Really anything is good in PVE, so dont worry too much. Things like vordt's hammer annihilate bosses and ultras are amazing for taking on stronger enemies. For PVP, strength is a mixed bag. For team fighting and ganking it's very strong, wide hits, long stuns, good damage, and poise ofc.Most quality builds are evenly split between STR and DEX, but some builds have lower STR to put those points somewhere else and force themselves to two-hand heavier strength weapons.
