A quick explanation I used in another comment: Wellskating and Shatterskating are identical, but require a different third input; heavy attack with eager edge off of a ledge, then jump, then Well/shatterdive. If they leave it in, many things going forward would potentially then have to be designed around the fact that eager edge skating is a thing.
