A dex build is really lame until you reach the higher levels. I recommend a dex/int build. You'll end up a spellsword. On a pyro build i would recommend it in offhand, because some pyromancies combo with estoc light attack. Leo ring's not worth it though. It only increases physical damage, and you're probably infusing it with dark or chaos. I think honestly that the estoc is better, however you can parry with the rapier in the offhand.IMO, the Estoc is more of a quality weapon. Are you planning on going full Dex? DEX/FTH or DEX/INT? It's actually the only rapier in the game that naturally scales better with strength if I recall correctly.
