To always use only regualr gasoline. The owners manual only says to use a minimum 86 octane. I have always used premium in my other bikes.Running with the choke out to "run it a little rich" is NOT the way to resolve this issue. The "Choke" WILL foul out your plugs eventually. Adjust the A/F Screw about 1/4 to 1/2 turn Out, this will resolve the Lean Issue.
