You can craft an advanced toolkit, but it requires 5 basic toolkits to make an advanced one. I suggest looking in stashes in yantar, wild territory, darkscape, or army warehouses for the advanced toolkits. Search red forest and anything north of red forest for expert toolkits. I found my first expert toolkit in a stash in radar.

When I go to Sidorovich there is an option to choose that and then you can choose what kind of armor to exchange. It says Light Armor 5'000 RU, Medium Armor 10'000 RU and so on.
