We stayed at one of the cabins at the Mt. Magazine State Park and it was FANTASTIC! Cleanest cabin we have ever stayed in. While there, we had breakfast at the lodge restaurant and also ordered dinner one night and took it back to our cabin. The food was very good. Hot tub on our deck was super clean and a nice way to end a day of hiking/walking.The most remembered structure of the period was the Mount Magazine Lodge. This beautiful two-story building featured 26 guest rooms, a kitchen, dining room, and a stone patio with a wonderful view of the Petit Jean River Valley and the Ouachita Mountains.
